An open deck uses spaces between its top boards. That can be suitable for rigid goods with adequate contact areas, but smaller cartons or flexible bags may need extra support. Show the bottom layer of the packed load so board positions and gaps can be considered against the goods.

A liner sheet may be part of the packaging design, but it should not be used to disguise an unsuitable pallet. Provide the actual load and any protective layer. Confirm permitted gaps and critical board positions where automated handling or receiver specifications control them.
