Dunnage is timber used to support, separate or secure cargo. It can be regulated wood packaging on an international shipment even when the main pallet already has a treatment mark. Identify who supplies loose pieces and how their compliance will be checked before packing is completed.

Keep loose timber within the check

Provide the dimensions, intended contact loads and restraint role of each piece. Cutting, repair or other changes can affect the marking and compliance arrangements, so obtain appropriate guidance for the planned use. The loading and restraint design must be assessed separately from plant-health treatment.
