Wood Packaging Documentation for Export

Start an export documentation enquiry by describing the complete timber packaging and the destination. An ISPM15 mark is part of a regulated treatment system, but the shipment may also require packing declarations, cargo documents or information for the importer. Requirements should be checked for the actual route and goods.

Keep a clear packaging record

Retain the pallet specification, supplier details and photographs of legible marks where useful. Identify who supplies loose timber after the main package is prepared. Ask the forwarder which declarations are needed instead of assuming one generic heat-treatment certificate covers every country and cargo.
