Receiving and Inspecting Empty Pallets

Incoming empty pallets should be checked against the order specification before being mixed into usable stock. Confirm size, construction and visible condition, plus treatment marks where required. A separate acceptance area can make it easier to resolve unsuitable units without discovering the problem during urgent packing.

Record practical acceptance criteria

Agree which damage, protruding fixings or contamination makes a unit unsuitable for the intended job. Check the supplier's grade definition when buying recycled stock. Store accepted units safely and keep different specifications identifiable so receiving checks remain useful through dispatch.
