Heat Treated Pallets for EU Shipments

Regulated solid-wood packaging moving from Great Britain into the EU needs the relevant treatment, debarking and official marking. The requirement is not the same as choosing a Euro footprint or an EPAL exchange pallet. State both the destination's plant-health requirement and the customer's pallet acceptance rules.

Keep border and receiver requirements distinct

Check cases, collars and dunnage alongside the pallet. Materials such as wholly processed-board packaging can have different treatment implications, but a mixed case may still contain regulated solid timber. Have the complete assembly checked rather than classifying it only by the panel material.

Details to check for your enquiry

  • GB-to-EU timber checks
  • Receiver footprint and exchange rules
  • Mixed-material cases and dunnage
