Ask about the actual consignment
Provide cargo description, route and a drawing of timber packaging to the forwarder. Confirm marking, treatment and any required declarations for that shipment. Check the consignee's pallet size and unloading rules separately, especially where the base is custom-made or the goods are transferred through another warehouse.
